The raven-haired performer, who plays Robin on the hit show, says the 25-year-old pop princess has the right kind of attitude for small-screen success after working with her on set. "She was a true professional," says Cobie. "She was on time, she knew all her lines and just wanted to do a good job."

Spears will donate proceeds from the sale to the Natural Resources Defense Council, a nonprofit environmental action group."

A guest appearance by Britney Spears propelled HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER to its highest adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings in its three-season history and its best delivery of this season in viewers, according to preliminary Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Monday, March 24.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in adults 18-34 (3.6/10, the night's top program in this demo), second in households (6.3/10), viewers (10.62m), adults 25-54 (5.3/12) and adults 18-49 (4.5/12). Compared to the program's first-run return last Monday, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was up +9% in households (from 5.8/09), +6% in adults 25-54 (from 5.0/12), +5% in adults 18-49 (from 4.3/11) and added +1.01m viewers (from 9.61m, +11%).

Yes Britney Spears was a guest star. And yes, she did a good job. The girl does have some talent, remember. We all loved her once upon a time. It helps that the character of Abby was a bit of a wack-a-doo. But what the promos failed to promote (thus the failure to live up to the name “promos”) was that Sarah Chalke (Scrubs) was also a guest star in a much larger role and that she did a damn good job.

While Stella turns down his repeated efforts for a date, her office receptionist, Abby, becomes smitten with Ted, on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, Monday, March 24 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Britney Spears is going to play Abby in this episode. The world will be turning in to see how Ms. Spears fares. Don't miss out.

Many sources are reporting that her acting isn't bad at all. If you remember the times she hosted SNL, she was pretty darn good AND funny. This could be a good thing for all of us.

Sarah Chalke from "Scrubs" will also be a guest star in this week's episode.

St. Patrick’s Day in NYC can be a bit crazy… I know. I’ve lived there and seen it. And it is only natural that Barney contributes to such wackiness, dragging Ted along behind. The two go to a party (hey – theres The Mother with her yellow umbrella!) where the rules of the universe seem to have gone all kerfloopy: Ted, having ditched Marshall and Lilly to go out with Barney, gets rewarded with two hot girls; they ditch the two hot girls and get rewarded with an entire party where the guy/girl ratio is slanted precariously to the girls’ side; they order drinks all night on someone else’s tab and get rewarded by an invite to join a group of very hot and very drunk girls; etc. It is like the universe WANTS them to do jerky things. According to Barney: “There is no tomorrow!”
