Britney Spears WILL Return to How I Met Your Mother
The speculation is over. Today CBS released the following:
LOS ANGELES, April 28 — Singer Britney Spears will return to HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER to guest star in an episode to be broadcast Monday, May 12 (8:30-9:00 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Production on the episode began today.
"We're all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again. And just to head it off at the pass this time around: Yes, Mom, Britney's very nice and no, I can't get her autograph for you," said Craig Thomas, executive producer and co-creator, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.
When Barney and Abby realize that they have one thing in common — their mutual hatred of Ted — the "couple" decides to go to the bar to flaunt their new relationship in Ted's face. Desperate to get a rise out of his former pal, Barney pops a surprising question to Abby

"Sandcastles in the Sky" Recap & Review
How I Met Your Mother
“Sandcastles in the Sand”
Original Air Date - April 21, 2008
Rachel – Legendary Staff Writer
So, Revertigo. It’s a phenomenon that occurs when a person (we’ll call her Robin) sees someone from her past (we’ll call him Simon) and starts acting how she did at the age she knew him. It is pretty ugly, but not half as ugly as James VanDerBeek’s hair.

Cobie Smulders TVGuide.com Interview
TVGuide.com has a great interview with Miss Robin Sparkles herself - Cobie Smulders. Many people have been curious if Cobie does her own singing as Robin Sparkles, she talkes about that and more.
"TVGuide.com: Singing a love ballad — is that hard?
Smulders: I'm not the greatest singer in the world, but the technology that these studios now have is pretty amazing. Anyone can go in and come out sounding OK, so I have that on my side."
You can read all of the interview HERE.

How I Met Your Mother
“The Chain of Screaming”
Original Air Date: April 14, 2008
Rachel – Legendary Staff Writer
So we finally see where Marshall works. You know, the evil law firm he sold his soul to. It’s kind of a Wolfram & Hart place, if you know what I mean. But I get ahead of myself… Ted bought a car.
Now, I’ve lived in NYC and I know that a car is one of the more stupid possessions a resident could have in the city. The parking alone can eat up hundreds of dollars. But Ted got a raise and wanted to reward himself. After Barney calls “shotgun for eternity” (which is a great idea, by the way), Marshall shows up looking very out of sorts. Over a beer, he tells his story…

TV Guide is Saying to Look for More Chalke
According to TVGuide's AskAusiello, Sarah Chalke may be seen on screen again this season.
"Chalke's Mother crush himself, Josh Radnor — here to shoot a guest appearance for next week's Ausiello Report vodcast — confirmed that we'd probably be seeing Stella for a "few more episodes" this season. He was quick to add, however, that he has no clue whether or not she's the mother. "I really don't know," he said, "nor do I ask."
The story is HERE.
What do you think? Do you think we just met their mother?

Neil Patrick Harris on "Stunt Casting"
Neil Patrick Harris gave some great quotes to a story that AOL TV is running.
"I'm in the minority that our show does not need stunt casting in order to succeed," Harris declared during a break from taping the Monday night CBS sitcom, which has grown a cult following since its 2005 debut.
"I worry that if they start `Will and Grace'-ing us too much, that the show will suffer. And we're all really proud of the content of the show. I mean, viewership is not our game. It's the network and the studio's game, you know. It's the promotion department's game," the actor, who plays womanizer Barney, told The Associated Press in an interview last week."
Of course all the papers/sites are going to make it out that Neil doesn't want Britney Spears back on the show, but no where in the article does he even mention her name.

"Forgetting Sarah Marshall" Premiere Photos
In case you haven't heard, the new Judd Apatow production "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" was written by and stars our very own Marshall - Jason Segel.
The movie's tagline is "The ultimate romantic disaster movie."
The Plot? Devastated Peter (Segel) takes a Hawaii vacation in order to deal with recent break-up with his TV star girlfriend, Sarah (Kristen Bell). Little does he know Sarah's traveling to the same resort as her ex ... and she's bringing along her new boyfriend.
The premiere was held the other night and most of Jason's HIMYM friends stopped in!

HIMYM - Ten Best on TV!
According to SportingNews.com anyway!
"Is the setting of this show particularly original? No. How many groups of friends have we seen who live in New York, wrapped up in their lives, living in apartments way too big for their income in a sitcom? This concept will be around forever, but How I Met Your Mother takes it and flips it around, setting the narrative 25 years in the future with a man telling his kids the story of well, how he met their mother. The show is ingenious in its use time and perspective, warping around normal sitcom contrivances to create new and interesting stories. Oh, and for those who have seen Harold and Kumar, it should come as no surprise that Neil Patrick Harris steals this show along with Jason Segel as Marshal and the radiant Alyson Hannigan as Lily."

Ted's (not) Quite the Bachelor
Starpulse.com recently ran a story about the most undesirable bachelors on Television.
Our boy Ted Mosby made the list. Poor Ted.
"Following that lead is Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor) from How I Met Your Mother. Ted even went so far as to teach his teenage son that "No doesn't really mean No" on the latest episode "Ten Sessions." Ted is the kind of guy who says everything a woman wants to hear, so it all seems perfect at first. Only as she travels down the relationship road with him, she realizes that it's not her he's interested in but rather the act of getting married in general. He wants to be in a relationship so badly, it doesn't even matter who he's with, and he ends up projecting so many of his hopes and desires onto his girlfriend without ever stopping to consider who she is and what she might want out of the whole thing."

Here is the video from this week's HIMYM episode, "The Bracket". After Barney makes a discovery about himself, he decides to blog it out, Doogie Howser style.
